Meet the Publisher

Salima Fetter

Publisher, Uniquely You Metro Atlanta

I’m Salima Fetter, a wife, mom to three beautifully unique daughters, and a passionate advocate for the special needs and IDD community. After earning my MBA in Marketing, I spent over a decade as a business coach for female entrepreneurs and worked in the clean beauty space, advocating for cosmetic reform and more health-protective laws. Those experiences taught me the power of servant leadership, empowering women, and connecting with people on a deeply impactful level, but nothing has shaped me more than raising my special needs daughter.


Over the past 12 years, I’ve learned first-hand how vital community, connection, and practical support are for families like mine. When I saw a gap in our community to easily access trusted and vetted local resources, I launched Uniquely You Metro Atlanta to celebrate the voices of the special needs and IDD community, share inspiring stories, and connect families to businesses, organizations and nonprofits that can support their needs. 


Uniquely You Metro Atlanta is built on purpose and empathy, featuring providers, businesses, and contributors who serve this community with heart and integrity. For our partners, it’s more than exposure; it’s mission-driven marketing that fosters real connection, trust, and long-term loyalty. I’m thrilled that Uniquely You is here to support our community, spark connection, and make a meaningful impact where it’s needed most.


When I’m not working on Uniquely You or coaching parents, you’ll find me traveling, catching live music, exploring new restaurants, painting, and enjoying time with friends and my daughters Sophia, Zia, and Laila, and my husband, Matt.
